Report Cards (added by 27/3/24 by Mrs Prentice)
Report cards are now available on ParentsPortal. If you go into the Services tab, the report card can be found in the Report Cards section. If you have not signed up for ParentsPortal as yet, paper copies of the report will be sent home. A link has been sent out via ParentsPortal for report card feedback. Secondary School Transport Consultation (added 7/3/24 by Mrs James)
The consultation on the proposal to alter the qualifying distance for mainstream secondary schools transport is still open and will close on 15thy March. The proposal document can be viewed and a response made via Secondary school transport - consultation - South Lanarkshire Council


Primary 7 Assembly Reminder - Friday 15th March (added 7/3/24 by Mrs James)
A reminder that our Primary 7 assembly will take place next Friday at 9.30 - doors will open from 9.20. We look forward to welcoming you on the day if you are able to join us.
 


World Book Day (added 7/3/24 by Mrs James)
We are excited for our 'Bonnet Book Parade' for World Book Day today and for our afternoon reading activities - please keep a check on our X (Twitter) feed for photos of our adventures throughout the day.

We are able to post again on our website and have now updated our most recent Parent Council Minutes and March Newsletter. Please keep a check on our calendar for upcoming events and please regularly check Parentsportal for school/class information.
 


Update on Secondary School Transport Consultation (added 14/2/24 by Mrs James)
Following a request from parents wishing more time to consider the proposal, the council has agreed to extend the consultation period for 2 weeks and it will now close on 15 March 2024. The proposal document can be viewed and a response made via Secondary school transport - consultation - South Lanarkshire Council
 


February Holiday/Inset Day Reminder (added 9/2/24 by Mrs James)
A reminder that the February holiday will take place next week Monday 12th and Tuesday 13th of February. There is an Inservice Staff day on Wednesday 14th February - all staff will be in training so may not be able to reply to phone calls or messages straight away.

Milton Primary is a very happy school with confident, achieving and motivated pupils who are involved in all aspects of their learning and school development.

As Head Teacher my aim is to create an ethos where all our pupils are able to achieve their full potential and develop their talents in a supported and nurturing environment. Our enthusiastic and hardworking team want your children to enjoy their time at Milton Primary School and look back on the happy times and learning opportunities that we provide.

I look forward to working in partnership with parents/carers, pupils and staff to continue to support the development and learning opportunities for all our pupils.
