Term 2-3 

This term, Milton Primary will celebrate our 'French Focus' week and I can't wait to help organise fun and fabulous French games, activities, and help raise awareness of French around the school. 

Spanish P7
P7 have got off to a flying start in Spanish this year. They have been learning about basic verbs in the present tense in Spanish (hablo = I talk, como = I eat) etc. Learning basic verbs helps the children to piece their knowledge of nouns together to create full sentence. The skill in doing this is transferable to French and will serve them well for the future study of Modern Languages in High School.

French P1 and P3
Primary 1 have been introduced to French this this term. They very enthusiastically listened to, and joined in, the reading of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ (La chasse a l’ours). Soon, they will learn greetings, numbers 1-10 and colours in French.

Support for Learning
I am continuing to work with children across the school to provide support and challenge in Literacy and Numeracy.
