Please remember to bring your best smile for our school photographer tomorrow! Still awaiting responses from Parentsportal - please ensure all annual checklists have been completed ASAP.

Lost Property (added 18/9/25 by Mrs James)
There are so many items of clothing in our lost property area. PLEASE help us by labelling ALL your child's belongings. Lost property collected since August will be outside on tables today from 2.30 and tomorrow - weather permitting. If any items belong to your child, please take these - no need to let the office know. Thank you.

Improvement Priorities for the Session Ahead (added 9/9/25 by Mrs James)
After community consultation with families and pupils at the end of session, our priority areas can be found on a one-page overview in the 'popular links' section on the bottom right of our website. We look forward to documenting our progress throughout the session and have this on display as you come into the school corridor - please have a read when you are next in to see what we have achieved. We will also have a 'come and see' day in November to share the learning in classes.

Car Parking Concerns (added 4/9/25 by Mrs James)
Our car park is becoming increasingly dangerous which is very concerning, therefore, I have outlined the message from our August newsletter again. At home time the car park gates will be closed when there are no spaces left and Miss Thomson will be at the gates to advise of this. The car park turning circle MUST be kept clear to allow emergency access. You will be asked to move if your vehicle is not in a designated bay. There is a one way system in place - please ensure this is followed in order to keep everyone safe - currently, there are many cars going round the wrong way or cutting through spaces.  The drop off zone in the morning is a drop off zone only and will be used by school transport vehicles at the end of the school day - please do not park in this area to pick up children at 3pm. The two designated blue badge spaces require access for badge holders at all times. Thank you for your cooperation and support in ensuring our car park is a safe area for all our users.

Successful Fire Drill and a Field Mouse for Good Measure!! (added 20/8/25 by Mrs James)
We had a very successful first fire drill this morning and I was super impressed by all the classes and especially how well our new Primary 1 boys and girls managed. We also had the added excitement of a field mouse in the playground this morning - never a dull moment in Milton!!
