First Fire Drill Complete (added 19/8/26 by Mrs James)
Well done to all our pupils on a very successful first fire drill this morning. Our new Primary 1 pupils deserve a special mention for their quick and calm exit from the class. The sunshine even made a quick appearance as we reached the MUGA muster point. Well done to all our boys and girls (and staff!) - Team Milton!

I hope you have all had a lovely Summer break - it looks like it is going to be very warm once again when we start back - please remember sun cream, hats and water. We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back on Thursday and hear all about how your Summer was. Staff are back on Tuesday and Wednesday this week but will have training and may not be available to take calls - please leave a message or email if you need anything and we will get back to you as soon as we can. A reminder that our first day back for pupils is Thursday 13th August 9.00 - 3.00. Our playground gate will be opened at 8.30 each morning by our janitor and our free breakfast club is open from 8.15 through our office entrance until 8.15, then via the playground from 8.30 - no need to book, just turn up for breakfast club which is open until 8.45. On the first day only for our new Primary 1 pupils, the start time will be 9.15 where pupils will be collected at the playground gate by their class teacher - please refer to the new entrants handbook given prior to the Summer break for all arrangements. Our Primary 1 boys and girls will finish at 2.30 and will be escorted to the playground gate to meet their parents/carers. Please remember that Primary 1 pupils will follow the usual timings of 9.00 - 3.00 from Friday 14th onwards. Looking forward to seeing you all very soon! :0)
